OSLO, Norway (February 27, 2017) — Helly Hansen, the 140-year old technical sailing brand, is proud to announce that the Ægir Race Jacket has won a GOOD DESIGN™ Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture and Urban Study. The jacket was recognized as a leading product of design excellence among thousands of designs and graphics nominated from over 55 countries worldwide.

2016 marked the most significant year for GOOD DESIGN™ with the world’s most critical mass of FORTUNE 500 companies and the world’s foremost design firms participating. The Ægir Race Jacket stands up to its prestigious title as a professional grade product, designed and developed in cooperation with some of the world’s most recognized sailors.
