Helly Hansen Redefines Outdoor Footwear with the New 2018 Mountain Collection

OSLO, Norway (July 20, 2017) — Since 1877 Helly Hansen, the Norway-based brand, has worked alongside professional athletes and influencers to create products to help people stay and feel alive in the outdoors. These insights have been instrumental in creating Helly Hansen’s most innovative and disruptive Mountain line to date. The five men’s and women’s styles that make up the new collection consist of versatile hybrids that redefine the way we think of, and use, Outdoor gear. Our catalogue of trusted technologies makes sure that the end-user stay protected and comfortable at all times.

The all new Loke Dash and Loke Rambler HT for both men and women are packed full of technical details that will allow you to choose like a professional whilst staying at the forefront of style. The engineered uppers feature a lightweight and seamless support frame which adds stability, and protection against the elements, while micro perforations allow full breathability.

As Helly Hansen likes to push the boundaries, and challenge norms, the designers and engineers developed a highly technical stretch-knit upper structure, paired with a fully integrated stretch HellyTech® waterproof membrane, allowing users to maintain mobility and comfort without having to compromise on performance in the most adverse of weather conditions.

The 2018 mountain footwear collection continues to offer all that is expected of a Helly Hansen hiker, including HellyTech® Performance waterproof membranes and HellyTech® Protection overlays, as well as removable dual density EVA performance insoles designed specifically for Helly Hansen.

Gone are the days when Outdoor footwear was confined to one specific use on the mountain or rugged forest trails. With the desire to wear each new design around town as much as outdoors, you won’t need to worry about durability, stability or protection going from one activity to the next.

See the collection in its entirety this July at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market trade show in Salt Lake City, Utah.
