SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. – July 29, 2009 – Health+Fitness Business Expo & Conference (HFB), today announced event details for its inaugural Fitness Industry Community Service Project. The Community Service Project is taking place one day before the expo begins, August 5, and will benefit the Denver Boys & Girls Clubs.

Show attendees and exhibitors interested in participating should meet at the Colorado Convention Center at 1:15 p.m., on August 5. Complimentary transportation will take participants to the William E. Cope Branch of the Denver Boys & Girls Club located at 808 Inca Street, Denver, Colo., 80204. Participants are also welcome to drive their own vehicles.

Upon arriving, participants will enjoy a catered lunch from Wahoo Fish Tacos before tackling the facility’s painting, planting, scrubbing and organizing projects. Projects will continue until 5 p.m., at which point, participants will be taken back to the convention center.

HFB encourages attendees to join with industry peers in the inaugural Fitness Industry Community Service Project.

Organized by HFB and SNEWS, the Service Project aims to foster a spirit of cooperation among industry members and to make a positive impact on the health and fitness of the youth members of the Denver Boys & Girls Clubs. The Service Project is replacing the industry golf tournament that has taken place in past years.

Interested participants are encouraged to RSVP to Lauren Nielson at lauren.nielson@nielsen.com. For more information about the Health+Fitness Business Expo & Conference, please visit www.healthandfitnessbiz.com.
