Hi-Tec Sports USA introduces their Spring ‘15 Altitude Lite line of high performance hiking boots for men, women and children. Lightweight and breathable, the Altitude Lite is the perfect boot for anything from a short day hike to a multi day backpacking trip.
The Altitude Lite i WP features i-shield technology, which repels water and dirt, and is resistant to stains. The Dri-Tec waterproof membrane keeps feet dry while the rugged Multi-Directional Traction rubber outsole improves grip and provides durability.
The distinctive look of the Altitude Lite combines waterproof suede and nylon mesh in the upper for durability, breathability and comfort. Fashionable with color pops and outdoor styling with a secure fitting, while a Ghille lacing system appeals to novices and experts alike. There are two colorways for each men and women, and three fun colors for kids.
Men’s and women’s boots feature an OrthoLite™ sockliner that delivers superior cushioning, with anti-odor and anti-microbial properties. The EVA midsole absorbs impact, reducing strain, and the nylon fork shank provides lateral support while also allowing for some flexibility. The above ankle silhouette provides ankle support and offers protection from rocks and sticks. A gusseted tongue keeps debris out, and the abrasion-resistant toe cap and heel give added protection.
In addition to great support and waterproof construction, the children’s Altitude Lite i WP JR features the unique Big-Fit System to help shoes fit longer. The system includes two insoles, one to cushion and one that can be removed as feet grow.
