Highgear Makes Time for Teens with Big City Mountaineers Fundraiser

Highgear is pleased to sponsor a fundraiser for Big City Mountaineers during Outdoor Retailer in August. The fundraiser will take place at Highgear’s booth (33163) from 4 – 6pm on day 1 & 2 of the show. By making a donation of $20 or more attendees can receive a new Highgear Enduro trail running watch.

“BCM is extremely fortunate to have Highgear once again leading the way helping our program,” says BCM Executive Director Mark Godley. “For the past three years, Highgear has been incredibly generous in infusing our trips with all of its easy to use and technically advanced navigation and timing products. We’re excited to take the relationship to the next level by raising money to get more kids out on the trail through its efforts.”

The Highgear Enduro watch, which will be offered in two styles for this fundraising event (Mini, women; Max, men), is the chronograph watch reinvented. Some of the key features include the mineral glass lens, the battery hatch, the 100-hour chronograph, 9 interval timers, and a training log. The retail price on this product is $65.

On Friday afternoon Big City Mountaineers will also be showing a video entitled “City to Summit,” a documentary-type video filmed last summer during one of the summer youth backpack trips.
