Vancouver, BC (January 12, 2015)- Hillsound Equipment—the leading producer of winter and fishing traction equipment and gaiters for urban and outdoor enthusiasts—will continue to support the Vancouver Outdoor Club in 2015. The brand will sponsor the outdoor organization by donating footwear traction devices and gaiters to the group. In addition, all VOC members are eligible for a 20% discount off all Hillsound products that can be redeemed at Alpine Start Outfitters. The product contributions and discounts will help provide the members the gear they need to continue getting outside during the winter and mud season months.
The Vancouver Outdoor Club is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization, whose mission is to promote outdoor recreation and environmental protection in their home city of Vancouver. Their volunteer-lead events facilitate local participation in activities including hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, skiing and sailing.
