Vancouver, BC – Hillsound, the leading producer of winter traction equipment and gaiters for urban and outdoor enthusiasts, is excited to be a premier sponsor of this year’s Mountain Madness Phantom Run in Vancouver on November 16, 2013.
Mountain Madness—a Vancouver-based organization that hosts several trail running events and clinics throughout the year—is elemental in Vancouver and North Shore-area trail maintenance. They organize several races including the Fat Dog 100 (described by Outside Magazine as one of the nine toughest ultra-marathons in the world), the Dirty Duo, Iron Knee Tender Knee, Hallow’s Eve Race, Run Fred Run, and Phantom Run.

The race features 24, 19, and 12 km distances in addition to a walk and starts and finishes in North Vancouver at the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve (LSCR) near Learning Lodge. Runners will race along trails and backcountry roads, vying for top titles at this notable event. All proceeds from the walk event go toward Save Your Skin Foundation raising awareness for melanoma.
