HOKA ONE ONE Launches Clayton Featuring New PRO2LITE Technology

Goleta, Calif. (Feb. 29, 2016) — HOKA ONE ONE® (a division of Deckers Brands NYSE: DECK) continues to revolutionize the concept of lightweight cushioning in running shoes with the debut of the Clayton, the pinnacle product in a new speed category for the brand. The Clayton features PRO2LITE midsole technology, a progressive dual density midsole that combines a cushioned heel for protection with a firm forefoot for propulsion, the epitome of speed and cushion.

“Never has a shoe from HOKA ONE ONE been this protected and this light until now,” said Jean-Luc Diard, HOKA ONE ONE co-founder and vice president of innovation. “This is a shoe you can use on everything from long training runs when you need support, to race day when you need speed.”

A signature Oversize Active Foot Frame delivers a supportive fit, and early stage Meta-Rocker provides a smooth and nimble ride. A full RMAT® outsole offers excellent rebound, cushioning and traction, and eliminates the weight of traditional rubber. The Clayton’s total weight is an impressive 7.3 ounces (men’s size 9).
