Horizon Fitness Treadmills Recognized by Leading Consumer Publications

DEFOREST, Wis. (January 31, 2006) – Horizon Fitness treadmills were recently recognized for their quality and overall performance by a pair of highly respected national consumer magazines. Runner’s World and a leading national consumer products magazine both prominently featured Horizon Fitness treadmills among the best in the industry.

Runner’s World featured eight top treadmills in its February 2006 issue, as chosen by a panel of treadmill experts. After 150 runners put the treadmills to the test at the Michigan Athletic Center in East Lansing, the Horizon Fitness Elite 5.2T emerged on their prestigious Top Eight list. The magazine listed the 5.2T as an ideal entry-level model for runners with limited space in their workout area. Testers also liked how easily the machine folded up.

In its February 2006 issue, a highly respected consumer products magazine rated three different Horizon treadmills: the Performance Series PST8, Elite 5.2T and CST 4.5. The publication named the Horizon Performance Series PST8 as a ‘Best Buy’ in its folding class. The Elite 5.2T and CST 4.5 both had strong showings in the magazine’s ratings, receiving a grade of “very good.”
