Bend, OR (July 31, 2014) – Hydro Flask—the award-winning leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks—has welcomed two new members to its team. Brian Goodwin joins the Bend, Oregon headquarters as a Product Designer and Ben Hein takes on the role of Product Engineer. The new hires are indicative of the brand’s commitment to industry-leading products, constant innovation, and quickly growing market popularity.

Brian Goodwin will focus on consumer and activity-specific product design. He brings a solution-oriented and well-rounded design style to the Hydro Flask team, having worked with brands such as Nixon, Nike+, Forum, Columbia, Incase, Microsoft, Adidas, and GE Appliances. Brian has extensive experience in product design, but also has led branding, packaging, and in-store retail campaigns that have elevated companies on a global scale. Prior to Ben’s time at Yakima, he worked in product development and engineering with brands such GigaPan Systems, Automotive Industrial Marketing Corporation, and Daimler-Chrysler AG. His work at GigaPan developing consumer robotic photography equipment resulted in Editor’s Choice Awards from both American Photo and Popular Photography magazines for the EpicPro product.

“We’re extremely excited to have both Brian and Ben join our team,” Vice President of Marketing and Product David Visnack. “They’ve proven themselves as innovators and thought leaders in their respective fields and will be a huge part of Hydro Flask’s continued momentum.”
Goodwin began in mid-July and Hein will come on board on August 4th.
