Ibex Outdoor Clothing Hires Matt Kaplan as VP of Sales

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VT (October 27, 2015) —Ibex Outdoor Clothing, manufacturer of premium technical Merino wool apparel and accessories, hires Matt Kaplan as Vice President of Sales, effective November 4, 2015.
Kaplan brings more than two decades of sales and executive management experience to his new position at Ibex. Kaplan is coming to Ibex from Kuleana, a consulting firm offering services for sales force organization, go to market strategies, key account contacts, distributor relationships, and P&L management. No stranger to the outdoor industry, Kaplan has held executive positions at companies including Suunto North America, Footbalance System and most recently at Timberland, where he was the Director of Sales-West.
As Ibex continues to expand its wholesale channel, Kaplan’s initial focus will be working to support the sales force and retailers with all the tools necessary to strengthen wholesale distribution across North America, and take the Ibex wholesale business to the next level.
