New Men’s & Women’s Collection Offers Performance Enhanced Features Including Improved Fit & Durability
Icebreaker Merino, the pioneering New Zealand brand that introduced merino wool apparel to the outdoor industry, announces new and improved underwear styles for Spring/Summer 2016. The new range for men and women offers all the benefits of previous Icebreaker underwear with significant performance enhanced features, including more versatility and multi-sport functionality than ever before.
“For Spring/Summer 2016 we’ve re-designed the underwear for Men and Women. We’ve brought fantastic improvements to the fit of the entire range, spending countless hours in design, fitting and wear-testing all styles to be certain that every piece is perfect.” says Mark Koppes, VP of Product. Additionally, we’ve improved the durability of all styles by incorporating our Core Spun technology, increasing the burst strength of the fabric by 40%. The new styles, which feature enhanced Corespun technology, represent an evolution from the previous line. Corespun offers improved garment burst strength and long-term durability. The nylon is wrapped around merino, which means there is no sacrifice in next-to-skin softness. The design offers all the benefits of 100% merino; wicking away moisture from the body to maximize comfort and providing an antimicrobial finish for odor resistance. New key features also include low profile seams for comfort and layering; and a modillion stabilizer that prevents leg hem from rolling or riding up.
