Icebreaker, the New Zealand based manufacturer of pure merino nature clothing, announced today that Bragg-Curtis will be representing the brand in the Northeast territory, effective immediately. John Bragg, Suzi Curtis, and Kristen Elechko will be covering the sales region for Icebreaker, servicing the brand’s existing sales network and establishing new opportunities for Icebreaker merino apparel in outdoor, snow sports and specialty boutiques.
Bragg, Curtis, and Elechko constitute a well-rounded team of sales professionals and are among the industry’s most dedicated. As a climbing pioneer, Bragg has put up first ascents nationwide and has been an outdoor rep for over 25 years. Curtis and Bragg joined forces in 2002, making their sales partnership official after four years of tackling the Northeast. Elechko was a welcome addition over the last two years, bringing knowledge of key accounts and a long history of retail sales, ordering, distribution, and rep experience to the team.
“We’re excited about the focus, experience, and growth that Bragg-Curtis can bring our retail partners and our brand in this territory,†said Russ Hopcus, President of Icebreaker USA. “Icebreaker is so widely received nationwide, and the Northeast represents a great growth opportunity for us and for our dealers.â€

Founded in 1994 and based in Wellington, New Zealand, Icebreaker created an entirely new clothing category: merino outdoor clothing. The hand-picked merino wool, procured directly from the country’s Southern Alps, is transformed through the best technology, ethical manufacturing and environmentally sound practices into every Icebreaker garment. The Travel, Outdoor and Underwear apparel collections use ten distinct pure merino fabrics that silky soft, insulate beautifully, breath effectively, and don’t itch or hold odor. Now the largest outdoor merino apparel company in the world, Icebreaker is currently available at nearly 2000 stores in 24 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Australasia, and North America. The company is committed to sustainability, ethical manufacturing, supply chain transparency, and animal welfare.
