ICEBREAKER 旅TABI LIFESTYLE COLLECTION LAUNCHES FOR FALL

Vancouver, BC, September 24, 2018 — Icebreaker, natural performance adventure and outdoors apparel brand, is proud to announce the third iteration of their popular urban lifestyle apparel, the 旅TABI Collection, for Fall/Winter 2018 (FW18).

In conjunction with Japanese apparel house GOLDWIN, Icebreaker designed and created the stylish collection as a showcase of the high performance nature and exemplary next-to-skin experience of natural merino wool. The eponymous name for the collection, 旅TABI is Japanese Kanji for ‘Journey’, and connects people to provenance and place, an important ethos of Icebreaker as a brand, one that is built on connectivity to the land and lasting relationships.

The first 旅TABI Collection launched in 2017, with a capsule collection that offered elevated classic pieces for the urban outdoors-person. This newest collection utilizes the same high performance luxe textile construction in Icebreaker’s diverse base layer and apparel lines from the 200 Oasis construction, but amplifies the urban-inspired nature driven heritage. The quality is inherent throughout the line, and unique textile alternatives, such as in Realfleece items, Icebreaker’s sustainable merino wool-based take on the fleece textile, showcase the versatility and premium performance of merino wool. The FW18 collection focuses on classic, clean and sustainably designed everyday pieces for the discerning urban adventurer.

The most coveted pieces in the original Fall 2017 collection will return for the FW18 season, including the 旅TABI Turtleneck, 旅TABI Realfleece Sweatpant, and 旅TABI Deice sweaters.

New pieces such as the Mens Tech-Lite SS Pocket Crew™ Tee, crafted from Icebreaker merino wool for softness and temperature, and the Women’s Tech Merino Coat, which incorporates high function and comfort for everyday use, will also be available. Key pieces for the FW18 collection include men’s and women’s Tech Merino Blazer, Slacks and Pants, RealFleece LS Jacket and Pants, Deice LS Boat-Neck, RealFleece Parka and Crewe, and Oasis Cardigan and Turtleneck, all combining to create a capsule of items that can be mixed and matched, are multi-seasonal, versatile in their use, and offer a premium next-to-skin experience and sustainable alternative for urban and outdoors-wear.
