ICON Canada Wins Sears “Vendor of the Year” Award

(ST. JEROME, QUEBEC, May 9, 2006) – ICON Canada is the 2006 recipient of the Sears Canada “Vendor of the Year” award. Sears also presented the company with the “Partners in Performance” award. This is the fifth time that ICON Canada has won this award.

The “Vendor of the Year” award was given to five of the seventy-five vendors at the award ceremony.

ICON Canada is also one of the top winners to receive the “Partners in Performance” award, out of a vendor base of 3,000.

“Everyone at ICON Canada contributed to this success and we are all very humbled to have been selected one of five vendors from the thousands that Sears does business with,” said Mark Powell, Vice President, ICON Canada.
The Partners in Performance award that was given to ICON Canada on April 20, 2006, this award recognizes suppliers who demonstrate superior achievements in market performance, quality performance, and service quality.
“Through our Partners in Progress program, Sears has the opportunity to recognize the suppliers who are the most significant contributors to the achievement of our business goals,” said Scott Dever, Vice President, Sears Procurement. “One of those goals is to build positive, lasting relationships with our customers.”
