IFAI Call for Presentations

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) is currently accepting proposals for IFAI Expo 2006 educational programs. Members of the specialty fabrics supply chain including manufacturers, designers, architects, engineers, textile technicians, business & marketing professionals are invited to deliver an educational presentation to the diverse specialty fabrics industry.

IFAI Expo 2006 will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga., Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, 2006. IFAI Expo 2006 educational programs will feature eight special symposiums: Architectural Structures, Automotive Materials, Awnings & Canopies, Marine, Medical Textiles, Safety & Protective, Sewing & Welding and Textiles & Graphics. Proposals are needed for seminars, case studies, technical papers, workshops, panels, and roundtable discussions.

Acceptance will be based on the originality and timeliness of the topic, how well the topic contributes to advancing the industry, and how relevant and interesting the subject matter is to the proposed audience.

Each special symposium will be designed to provide an in-depth review of design, new trends and developments, materials and new technologies rapidly advancing in the specialty fabrics industry.

Accepted speakers are recognized in a multitude of promotional media, including IFAI magazines and through the IFAI Expo Web site; www.ifaiexpo.com, and e-mailed news blasts. More than 8,000 industry professionals from around the world will visit IFAI Expo 2006’s expansive exhibit hall and high-quality educational programs.
