SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 22, 2019) – Injinji®, the innovator of the patented five-toe- Performance Toesock™ for runners and outdoor enthusiasts, announces the launch of its newest addition to the Injinji run collection with the Liner + Runner model. Available for purchase beginning today on injinji.com, the Liner + Runner incorporates anti-blister features and supreme sock engineering technology.
“Runners know how important having durable, comfortable and high-quality socks are for successful training sessions or for the all-important race day,” says Injinji CEO and President Jason Battenfield. “As a group of passionate runners, we wanted to bring our signature toe sock engineering and Liner sock technology together to create the most innovative running sock to hit the market this season.”
The Injinji Liner + Runner is a unique two-sock system pairing the best-selling, base-layer Injinji Liner sock with the Injinji Runner sock, a cushioned toe-fitted sock constructed with COOLMAX® technology to provide wicking and temperature control properties. The ultra-thin Liner is the front line of protection against blisters with its five-toe-sock construction. The Runner is worn over the Liner to increase comfort and cushion with its terry mid-weight design throughout the bottom of the foot. By pairing both socks together, the mini-crew design provides the runner a secure cuff barrier around the ankle to prevent debris from getting into the sock.
The Injinji Liner + Runner (MSRP $24.00) is available in men’s and women’s sizing, and is offered only as a two-sock set. The Liner + Runner, available for purchase today on injinji.com, will be available at specialty retail partners in fall 2019.
