September 26th, 2014 – Vancouver, BC: Innate was honoured to be chosen to present their Craft Growlers at “Why I Design”, an exclusive event at the Museum of Vancouver for Vancouver Design Week. The event, which highlighted 30+ Vancouver-based designers, spotlighted exceptional design projects and the motivations behind these designs.
“The common motivation and desire to not be satisfied with the status quo, to do things better, was infectious,” noted Innate Design Director Erin McGann. “I worried that we were too obsessive about getting a perfect grip on our carrying handle for cyclists heading home for the local brewery with a full growler. However, that worry was completely unfounded. It was so great to see other members of the same community, who brought the same level of detail, passion and commitment to great design.”
Innate’s Product Developer Christiane Villanueva, who was part of the project team, had the following to say: “It was a very exciting, busy evening. The growlers were very well received. The biggest highlight for me was the opportunity I had to discuss the Innate design process. It was great to get such resoundingly positive feedback from others first hand.”
