Intova continues its tradition of creating innovative products for every adventure with the addition of two new marine grade action cameras. The X2 and HD2 both offer high quality video and photo capabilities in a rugged and compact package. These cameras are the first in their class to offer a built-in 150 lumen LED light that can be used as a flash for still photos, or a constant light source for video.
“These new cameras are designed to withstand the harshest conditions in and out of the water,” says Industrial Revolution’s director of marketing and product development, Peter Pontano. “Combine that with the built-in flash and you have an unparalleled opportunity to get crisp, high quality video and images day and night.”
The X2 captures stunning 16 megapixel photos and high definition 1080p video above and below the waves. Waterproof up to 330 feet with a tough rubber armor coating, this camera is perfect for deep-sea dives and other marine adventures. Electronic red filter technology automatically adjusts colors in the water, and water repellant/anti-reflective glass keeps the lens free of drops so you can capture a clear shot. The X2 works with the Intova App, which lets you control most camera functions, preview live video and share photos and videos via email and social media using your phone or tablet. An included rechargeable lithium ion battery boasts two hours of life, ideal for any extended outing. Time lapse, burst and continuous mode shooting add to the total photography experience. MSRP: $349.99
The HD2 shares several features with the X2, including high definition 1080p video, a 2” LCD screen and rechargeable lithium ion battery. The HD2 is also waterproof up to 330 feet, with a tough, polycarbonate housing that stands up to any environment. An included water resistant remote control allows you to mount the camera in hard to reach places and control the shot from afar. A removable door provides improved audio performance and the ability to plug in an external microphone or power source, and the no-fuss menu lets you customize the HD2’s settings with ease. MSRP: $249.99
The new Intova X2 and HD2 will be on display at Summer Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City at the Industrial Revolution booth #40.
