Avon, Colo. September 6, 2018 – With Wildsyde’s new vintage inspired eCruiser electric bikes, you can now pedal to work, the bar, the game, the beach, or your friends place … while raising your cool factor, not your body temp. Featuring retro styling and the look of an old motorcycle, our eCruisers have been designed and tested with adventure and practicality at their core.
Debuting for Interbike, the Beast is the first of three models that Wildsyde will introduce to the U.S. market. It is fitted with a 36v/13aAh Samsung battery and 500Wh Bafang rear drive motor
to keep riders moving in the right direction quickly and efficiently. The long lasting battery is engineered to propel riders 25 to 40 miles depending on body weight, terrain, wind resistance, speed and human effort. Originally designed for sand and the beach, the 26 x 4 tires are adventure ready.
As a Class 1 electric bike, the Beast’s 500 watt power-plant whisks riders up to a speed of 20 mph quickly and effortlessly. With five power zones and an electric motor, this pedal assist bicycle allows you to put as much or as little effort into your ride as your body desires.
“Our goal with Wildsyde is to recreate what we’ve successfully achieved in the ski and snow business with Sportube,” explains Paul Hields, Wildsyde owner and founder. “The key is to build up the new brand through independent bike retailers, fostering strong brand-retail relationship. We believe supporting bicycle retailers is important for our brand-and for the industry as a whole.”
