I/O BIO Develops Freeride Wool Line

Now in its third season, I/O Biocompatibles continues to shake up the baselayer
world by bringing to market the first loose fit wool line for men and women. For I/O BIO’s Fall/Winter
2009-10 line, the new Loose Tight gives riders extra movement with a freeride fit and the warmth, wicking
and the antimicrobial performance characteristics of 100% merino wool. Merino wool is the original organic
fiber, deriving from a natural, sustainable, renewable resource, is biodegradable and has no toxic VOC’s.
The Contact Loose Tight is perfect for riders who choose to wear their apparel on the looser side and dislike
the look and feel of a sausage roll. I/O’s Heavy User Network prefer the hang-loose fit for air-trapping function
and chilled-out comfort around the house. Respected riders like Andy Finch and Xavier Delerue helped
develop the gear.
Like the FC Hoody that debuted in the I/O FW 2008-09 line, I/O’s Loose Tight incorporates an I/O patented
print, another first in the wool industry. The Contact Loose Tight comes in I/O’s Plaid pattern available in two
distinct colorways for men and women as well as black. The ¾ length assures no hotspots with boot overlap
and the fabric is of course 100% fine merino wool. Easy care wash and tumble dry; will be available at retail
