Boise, Idaho – I/O BIO Merino has ensured delivery of its incredibly soft merino clothing, by changing its final production step from China to Fiji. This move will insure I/O BIO retail partners get the highly sought after styles early during the sell-in season.

Michell Wool, IO BIO Merino’s parent company, uses its patented technology to produce what the market now knows as the softest merino fabric available. I/O BIO showcases that it’s not only the quality of the 100% Australian Merino chosen, but also what you do with the wool after it’s sheared that truly makes the finished product better.

Greg McRoberts, I/O BIO President, states, “Our merino fabrics are now widely known as the best available, so it is refreshing to solidify the partnership in Fiji for our final step of production. Until now, this one step has stood between the best fabric on earth and our guaranteed on-time delivery.”

I/O BIO Merino’s F11 range debuted at the Outdoor Retail Tradeshow in Salt Lake City, Utah in January and this week in Europe at ISPO. I/O Bio’s retailers are preparing for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which will ship to stores later this month.
