Boise, ID USA, Sept. 29, 2009 — I/O Bio Merino partners with Red Mountain Resort (British Columbia) on the new “Ride Wool Ride Free†Program, to provide free skiing for I/O Bio Merino customers. The program gives customers at I/O Bio Merino dealers across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba a free one-day lift ticket at Red Mountain for the 2009-10 season for every piece of I/O they buy.
“Red Mountain has a rich history and as a result is well known across Canada. It’s one of the stops on the Powder Highway, well known for its deep Kootenay snowfalls,†comments Rob McCurdy, Director of Sales at ROI Recreation (I/O Bio Merino’s Canadian distributor). “The program provides incredible value for Canadian and US consumers and has helped local dealers get off to a fast start this season with the I/O Bio Merino brand.â€
The Red Mountain ski patrol and On-Mountain staff have been wearing the new I/O Bio Merino designs and putting the merino styles to the test both in town and on the mountain – truly testing the brand’s “Inside-Outside/You Decide†tag line.
I/O Bio Merino, the street-inspired and mountain-functional merino clothing company and Red Mountain, the heritage resort of the Pacific Northwest, known for its spiritual powder experience and legendary steeps are a perfect match, having teamed up last season on The Mountain Project, an initiative dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the mountain environment.
