ispo BrandNew Award winners announced

The ispo BrandNew Awards will be presented for the 14th time on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from 16 -18 July, 2006. The latest trends and innovations will be exhibited at the world´s largest start-up competition in the sporting goods industry in the ispo BrandNew Village in Hall A1. The companies receive a unique chance to present their products to an international public. 161 young entrepreneurs from 24 countries have submitted entries this time, fullfilling the following criteria:
· brand or company is not older than four years,
· never been exhibitor at ispo before
· present innovative products.

The top-rate, expert jury, composed of managers from the sports industry and editors of sports trade magazines, selected an overall winner, six category winners and 33 finalists from the entries.

The winners are:
ADVANSA Overall Winner:Gruber Assist – hidden driving system for mountainbikes

Thermolite® Hardware Winter Award: 3Essen – clothing for special bike sizes

Creora Style Award: 667 – chaste but sophisticated jacket

Riri Sportswear Accessories Award: A-Bag – stylish bags made of used airbags

Nilit Accessories Award: The Cleg – hydraulic brake for freeride and downhill

Coolmax® Hardware Summer Award: Sportsella – online sales training system

DuPont Hardware Accessories Award: Solo Ski Free – water-ski by yourself

The seven lucky winners receive a completely furnished booth of 20 m©, the 33 finalists each receive a 10 m© trade fair booth. The Award Ceremony / Press conference takes place on monday, 17th July 06 at 4.30 pm at the ispo BrandNew Village.
