In time for the premiere of the new ispo SPORT & STYLE in July, the ispo Group has hired Markus Hefter to manage the outdoor area of the ispo Group.
The 37-year-old business economist will be looking after the outdoor sector together with community manager Petra Griesel.
As project and sales director of the sport and shoe order centre at the M,O,C,, Markus Hefter has an expert knowledge of the sports equipment industry. He has proven himself as a successful manager and is highly regarded in the sector.
Himself a sports enthusiast, Markus Hefter is very well acquainted with the trade fair and event business as well as the processes and structures within Messe MÃ¼nchen, where he has already been employed since 2002. Within the protocol department he was responsible for ispo, GOLF EUROPE and Fairway. In December 2004, he moved to the M,O,C, Order Centre Munich as project and sales director. He looked after the key accounts and was responsible for quality management as well as strategic development before becoming marketing and sales director of the M,O,C,’s sport and shoe order centre, where he succeeded in increasing the leasing level to full occupancy.
