JakPak Donates Product to Disaster Relief

Active Engineering LLC, parent company of JakPak™, announced today that it is working with FEMA and the national Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) to dispense JakPaks to disaster relief agencies participating in the current emergencies.

As the world’s first all-in-one waterproof jacket, tent and sleeping bag, the JakPak was created by Active Engineering specifically to provide safety and comfort in an unpredictable world. JakPak is the only alternative personal shelter on the market designed for emergency preparedness.

Through their association with VOAD, JakPak will be sending product to Feed The Children, and Hands On Disaster Response. “We are pleased to be able to donate a number of JakPaks to agencies participating in the relief efforts in the South Pacific and Asia.

“We are excited that our JakPak will be used to assist those helping people in need, and look forward to receiving feedback from the front line,” said Terry Jensen, founder and inventor of the JakPak. “We are also currently working on a funding mechanism that will eventually enable us to donate and distribute more JakPaks as needed for future disaster relief,” Jensen continued.
