Jarden Corporation Names Daniel J. Hogan as CFO of The Coleman Company

After demonstrating savvy leadership in both finance and operations at Coleman, Dan Hogan is named the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Jarden Corporation has named Daniel J. Hogan as Chief Financial Officer of The Coleman Company, Inc. Coleman is headquartered in Wichita, Kan., and is a unit of Jarden Outdoor Solutions. Hogan has been serving as interim CFO since September 2007.

“Dan Hogan has proven himself a strong financial leader and officer at Coleman, with focus on increasing operational execution during a period of very tough macro-economic conditions,” said Greg Shearson, Chief Executive Officer of Jarden Outdoor Solutions. “His wealth of experience in consumer-product companies in operations and finance has made him a key player in forwarding Coleman’s strategic direction and accelerating the company’s profitability.”

Hogan previously served as Senior Vice President Operations for Easton-Bell Sports, Inc., in Van Nuys, Calif., a $700 million sporting goods manufacturer. There, he successfully integrated and consolidated the functions and organizations of separate business operations to improve profitability, in addition to consolidating independent Asian sourcing to improve profitability.

Prior to Easton-Bell, Hogan was Vice President Operations/Finance at World Kitchen, Inc., in Reston, Va., including brands such as Corningware, Corelle, Pyrex, Ecko and Revere. Hogan also held key executive positions at Georgia Pacific Corporation and for the James Corporation.

Hogan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Law from Lafayette College in Easton, Penn., and his Master of Business Administration, Finance, from SUNY Binghamton in Binghamton, N.Y.
