SylvanSport is pleased to announce that Jason Nuss of Chesapeake, VA. was the Grand Prize winner of the Gear Junkie’s Treasure Hunt: Roanoke. On July 11, Jason won the SylvanSport GO, offered as the Grand Prize in the weekend’s event. The Treasure Hunt, held at Roanoke’s Explore Park, was similar to an adventure race or an off-trail orienteering course. Orienteering flags were hidden in the woods, along trails, and on top of ridges in the park. Participants were given a map and used a compass or GPS device to navigate from flag to flag, charting their own course through the park. Jason took home the Grand Prize by running for 112 minutes and “clearing the courseâ€. Congratulations Jason!
