Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia, is the feature length documentary film about the life and climbs of legendary alpinist Jeff Lowe, narrated by Jon Krakauer – A Community Funded Project!

Jeff’s story inspires each of us to do what we can, with what we’ve got, from where we are. Years of climbing, a practice of being in the present moment, unknowingly prepared Jeff for the challenge he now faces of life in a wheelchair. You can see the movie trailer here.

Using the Eiger as a backdrop for Jeff Lowe’s life story, the film features footage of American climber Josh Wharton sampling sections of Metanoia, Lowe’s route on the Eiger. For nine harrowing days in the winter of 1991 Jeff pieced together what Men’s Journal called an “unimaginable” route up the very center of the Eiger Norwand. Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia is the story behind a climb—an act of imagination—that has become legendary.
