Jeff Lowe's Metanoia Beneficiary of GearTribe's Philanthropic Program

Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia is excited to be the first beneficiary of GearTribe’s philanthropic program

Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia is honored to be the first beneficiary of GearTribe’s philanthropic program, “Greater Good.”

Gear Tribe’s‘ Greater Good’  program supports environmental conservation and causes of local and national relevance to the outdoor community. Partnering with Hydro Flask for its first “Anywhere Deals” promotion, GearTribe’s new promotion will extend its ability to connect outdoor enthusiasts with outdoor retailers throughout the country.

Hydro Flask manufactures a highly popular and innovative, temperature-controlling double-wall insulated stainless steel water bottle. GearTribe will donate their proceeds from this promotion to support Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia.

‘Greater Good’ will launch concurrently with Anywhere Deals on September 12 with Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia project as its first beneficiary.

Using the Eiger as a backdrop for Jeff Lowe’s life story, Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia explores extraordinary alpine accomplishments, from mountain top to wheelchair. The film features footage of American climber Josh Wharton sampling sections of Metanoia, Lowe’s route on the Eiger. For nine harrowing days in the winter of 1991 Jeff pieced together what Men’s Journal called an “unimaginable” route up the very center of the Eiger Norwand. Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia is the story behind a climb—an act of imagination—that has become legendary.
