New Matrix Asset Management System from Johnson Health Tech North America, Inc. gives clubs instant access to product statistics and diagnostics
COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. – Oct. 9, 2009 – Johnson Health Tech North America, Inc. today introduced the new Matrix Asset Management System.
The Asset Management System uses an embedded wireless module that comes standard in all Matrix 5x, 7x and 7xe cardio products to communicate product information via the internet to Matrix service staff. This web-based software allows facility staff to remotely check on product usage, such as accumulated time and distance information, without having to disrupt users on the cardio floor. The Asset Management System also allows facilities to develop simple, comprehensive programs for preventative routine maintenance.
In addition to monitoring routine use, the system monitors for product malfunctions, and if a malfunction occurs, an email will be sent automatically to facility staff and the Matrix service department, allowing for a direct service response.
“The Asset Management System was designed to help facilities monitor cardio product performance, reduce down time and improve their return on investment,†said Andrew Kolman, product manager, JHTNA. “At Matrix, we take pride in our reputation for bringing innovative products to our customers. Asset Management continues this tradition by changing the way facilities interact with fitness equipment.â€
The Matrix Asset Management system will be demonstrated at Club Industry, Oct. 15 – 17, at the Matrix booth (No. 1101).
