Join Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) by Friday, May 8, to Save 10% on

Outdoor Retailer Summer Market Booth Space

OIA members receive a broad range of benefits, including research, education, public policy expertise and business savings

Boulder, Colo., May 4, 2014 – The deadline to save 10 percent on Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (ORSM) 2015 booth space is approaching fast. Exhibitors must be current Outdoor Industry Association® (OIA) members as of May 8, 2015, to qualify for the discount.

OIA provides a breadth of member benefits, including industry research, trend data, education, networking events, public policy and supply chain expertise and business savings, like the 10 percent discount on Outdoor Retailer booth space. “OIA members save a lot of money with the booth discount program,” said Ingrid Malmberg, director of membership for OIA. “For example, if one of our members has a 20’ x 20’ booth, they would save approximately $2,500 a year – often, that is more than the cost of the OIA membership.”

In addition to the 10 percent booth savings, members also have the opportunity to receive shipping discounts through UPS and YRC. Additionally, members can save on standard and custom furnishings, carpet and custom graphics through Freeman. Members can enroll in shipping and Freeman discounts on our website. The booth discount is reflected in final invoices from Outdoor Retailer. Companies that are current OIA members as of May 8 should check their final invoice to ensure the discount is reflected. Companies that join OIA after paying for their booth space in full will see a credit, which can be refunded in the original form of payment or credited towards another show.

“From a network of enthusiastic and supportive members to tools and resources to help me understand the market and the consumer,” said Niki Koubourlis, founder of Bold Betties Outfitters, “I’ve enjoyed being a part of the OIA community.”
