Jonathan McFarland Joins Mountainsmith as National Sales Manager

Effective immediately, Jonathan McFarland takes over as National Sales Manager for Mountainsmith, the Colorado-based innovators of cutting-edge packs, tents and bags. The announcement was made by Jay Getzel, Director Sales and Marketing for the company. Jonathan will have overall responsibility for domestic sales and customer service including the development of sales strategies and programs as well as customer service functions. He will also provide key insight to the company’s design and marketing team.
“Jonathan brings years of customer-centric sales and service experience in the outdoor industry to our team,†commented Jay. “He will be a valuable component in accommodating the growth we are enjoying while forging a best-in-class experience for our retail partners, sales team and consumers. Jonathan brings a wealth of expertise to Mountainsmith. For the past five years, he has been with GoLite, LLC in Boulder, Colorado where he managed domestic and international sales and marketing logistics and customer service. Prior to this latest stint, he was General Manager for Bota of Boulder where he managed all aspects of sales, marketing, office and supply chains.
