PINCKNEY, Mich. (March 16, 2011)—Joshua Tree Skin Care (JTree), maker of organic and natural products designed to support an active outdoor lifestyle, announces its sponsorship of the Barry-Roubaix Road Race in Middleville, Mich. on Saturday, March 26, 2011. Up to 1,000 cyclists from around the United States will compete for a cash purse; the race is the third largest cycling event in Michigan. Members of JTree’s cycling team including Neil Miller, Jeff Poirier and Mark Weston, will compete in the event.
The race, now in its third year, attracts competitors that vary in ability level from beginner to expert. Participants choose between 23, 35 or 62-mile distance courses that include gravel, pavement, rock, sand and mud terrains as well as vertical gain of up to 2,200 feet. The cash purse will be awarded to the top three cyclists in the 62-mile category.
“The Barry-Roubaix Road Race not only reaches our core demographic of active outdoor enthusiasts, but the spirit of the race encourages cyclists of all levels to get outside and challenge themselves on exciting terrain. JTree’s presence at the event includes a booth at the vendor expo and product giveaways in the event’s raffle.
