SEATTLE, WA. – January 22, 2018
K2 Sports today signed a contract to incorporate Locally as the store and product locator for its K2 Skis, K2 Snowboarding, Ride Snowboards, Line Ski, and Full Tilt Ski Boots brands. Locally provides the unique ability for customers to not only locate retailers in their area, but also to see if they have inventory of the specific items for which they are shopping. This will go live when the new websites are launched in the summer of 2018 for the 2018/2019 winter season.
“By providing shoppers with the added confidence of knowing there is inventory at their local retailer, we expect Locally to help us drive customers into the store,” said Alex Draper, Vice President of Marketing at K2 Sports. “Signing on with Locally is part of an ongoing process of strengthening our retail partnerships. This season, we more than doubled our retailer and consumer services staff with great results in our responsiveness. We also eliminated the ‘Buy Now’ button from our ski and snowboard websites to drive more customers to our retailers.”
“We are very excited to have K2 Sports coming on board for the 1819 season,” said Teddy Schiavoni, Business Development for Locally. “The success of retailers currently using Locally is huge, so I expect this to be very well received by K2’s retailers as well. And if they aren’t already using Locally, all they have to do is go to www.locally.com and click Sign Up to begin.”
