Kammok Takes 1% for the Planet #OathofAction This Inauguration Day

Austin, TX. (January 19, 2016) — The environmental impact of our recent U.S. presidential election is uncertain, but it’s clear that our planet needs us now more than ever. This inauguration Day, Kammok, makers of outdoor gear for the city-to-trail adventurer, is taking a 1% for the Planet #OathofAction.
As a 1% for the Planet member, Kammok donates at least 1% of annual revenues to social and environmental causes. This past summer, Kammok partnered with Explore Austin, a local organization in their hometown of Austin, TX, that combines the benefits of mentoring and outdoor adventure to underserved youth in their community.
In addition to their commitment to give 1% revenue each year, Kammok’s #OathofAction is to host an outdoor event for their team of Explore Austin mentors and explorers. The Kammok team will volunteer their time with Austin’s youth by going for a hike, hanging in hammocks and spending time getting to know the kids they sponsor as well as their mentors. Through their partnership, annual financial commitment, and #OathofAction, Kammok’s goal is to fuel life change through leadership training, mentorship and outdoor adventure.
