Kästle Bolsters North American Rep Force

July 23, 2013 (Salzburg, Austria) – Kästle, storied Austrian ski manufacturer, continues its dedication to growing its North American market. The US has distinguished itself as the most important market worldwide over the past few sales cycles. In response to expansion and to the boost the brand, specifically in New England, Kästle announces the hiring of Dan Mitchell, to fill the position of East Coast Territory Sales Rep.

The states where Kästle’s US business currently shows the strongest sales are CO, UT, and WY. The fastest growing product segments are Freeride skis (waist widths 95 – 128mm) and the Alpine Touring/Randoneé product group. For the business year now underway, a roughly 25% growth in sales is forecasted, solidifying the US at the forefront of Kästle’s international sales. New England has been identified as the region with the most growth potential.

In an effort to continue the development and valuable partnerships with retail accounts, Dan joins the US sales team, working closely with Jesse Pomerantz, North American Sales Manager. He brings six years of prior ski industry sales experience. Most recently as an associate partner at Coldfront Sales Group, where his focus was on select portfolio development of high alpine brands such as – Tecnica, Blizzard, Powderhorn and Shred/Slytech in New England and upstate NY.
