Kate’s Tram Bars flips the switch on KatesRealFood.com today. As part of a complete rebranding in just their first year of business, Kate’s Real Food is looking ahead and speaking to an audience that cares about more than just energy and taste, but whole-life nutritional value and community as well.

“As the first step in our rebranding process, we’ve renamed the company and created a new online interface,” said Kate Schade, company founder and namesake. “We quickly realized we were more than just Kate’s “Tram Bar” and are planning to launch several new flavors in the foreseeable future, ” Schade continued. “We wanted our face to be fresh, yet relevant to our loyal customers, and we wanted to add just enough interactivity to keep people coming back without overwhelming them. We also wanted to create a platform to promote getting out and playing, no matter where you are or who you are.”

The new website features nutritional information on Kate’s bars, as well as the Tram Bar story, background on the Master Mixers Kate and Katie, and Kate’s Blog where you’ll find updates on flavors, contest info, pics of Kate’s bars on location and more. Katesrealfood.com offers direct e-tailing, as well as supporting their local specialty retailers with links and updated contact info.

From their humble start in Kate Schade’s kitchen, Kate’s Real Food bars were born of a desire to never miss a second of skiing, and are specifically designed to be the only fuel you’ll need/want on the slopes and trails. Kate’s Real Food bars combine tasty goodness and a texture that keeps its shape but isn’t dry. Every bite is different, to keep you coming back, bar after bar.

Made by hand and from organic and all natural ingredients, Kate’s Real Food energy snack bars are available in three selections:

Dark and Spicy: Caz.Bar
The Dark Side: Grizzly Bar (original Tram Bar, with dark chocolate)

MSRP
Tram Bar: $2.99
