#KeltyBuilt Global Marketing Campaign Showcases Multi Channel Engagement Appealing To Next Gen of Outdoor Consumers
BOULDER, COLO. (August 4, 2015) – Tapping into the demands of the emerging generation of outdoor enthusiasts, Kelty (www.kelty.com), known for its sturdy packs, sleeping bags, tents, shelters and pads, is relaunching the brand for Spring 2016 with a fresh look and a revamped line. The line will not only feature its iconic products for outdoor devotees, but also, will debut gear with mobile friendly details, brighter colors and versatility for transition from trail to the city. Kelty’s new global marketing campaign, #KeltyBuilt with the tagline, “Built to Endure,” reinforces Kelty’s durability, regardless of the journey, the seasons, or the environment. The campaign, launching now, will be at the center of its social and retail channels, in addition to events, sponsorships and all outbound marketing. Kelty will display its new line at booth #24027 at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market Aug. 5-8, in Salt Lake City.

The classic Redwing Pack Collection has been completely updated, led by the new Redwing Reserve, where every detail has been retooled. Priced at $159.95, this pack features Kelty’s proprietary PerfectFIT™ Backpack Suspension System enabling on-the-go adjustments for all body types, eliminating the need for retail aided measurements. In addition, it uses more deluxe stylish fabric and incorporates several travel-friendly features, like an RFID blocking pocket, locking zippers, and durable metal buckles. Other packs in the group include: the Redwing 50 ($139.95) that now features the PerfectFIT Backpack suspension; the Redwing 44 ($124.95), a versatile pack for the trail or air travel; and the Redwing 32 ($99.95), a smaller pack for all around hiking with a women’s specific suspension.
The Versant collection, designed for the urban outdoors, fuses style, function and performance. It is designed for a variety of uses, including frisbee in the park, a road trip with friends or the daily commute. Specifically, it includes the Sling, the Duffel, the Backpack and the Messenger Bag. Shared features include: tech compatibility for laptop or smart tablets; easy access and organization components; ventilated back panels and shoulder straps; and water resistant fabric and reflective logos. Prices range from $49.95 to $84.95 and all pieces are available in black, smoke and mocha. The Versant furniture line combines function and a modern look for enjoying an outdoor concert, a soccer game or sitting around the campfire. It includes the Versant Low-Back Chair ($99.95), the Versant High-Back chair ($129.95) and the Versant Side-Table ($89.95). Common furniture features include an anodized aluminum frame and a compact carry bag.
Bringing a new level of comfort to the sleeping bag category, Kelty is introducing The Tru.Comfort line providing more room for consumers to tuck up their knees, sleep on their side and roll over with ease. ThermaPro™, a fiber blend engineered to retain warmth, provides superior packability. In addition, Tru.Comfort sleeping bags feature Kelty’s proprietary two-layer blanket system enabling consumers to regulate the temperature. Lastly, Tru.Comfort bags have the comfort-tuck zipper system that allows feet to peek out, oversized hoods and a toggle to keep the interior blanket secure.
