Kinetic Koffee Partners with Trips for Kids at Sea Otter

Arcata, CA – Kinetic Koffee and Trips for Kids will be partnering to raise funds by selling a limited edition coffee at the Sea Otter Classic at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA, April 17-20, 2008. One half of the proceeds from each bag will go directly to Trips for Kids to help fund their programs.

Kinetic Koffee General Manager, Mark Ritz, says, “I am really proud to be partnering with a great organization like Trips for Kids. We have been in conversation for some time, and the Sea Otter Classic is a perfect venue to raise public awareness of the program, with over 10,000 participants and 50,000 spectators attending.”

Marilyn Price, the Director of Trips for Kids, says “We have always admired Kinetic Koffee’s mission since their inception to give back to the cycling community and are honored to have been asked to participate with them at the Sea Otter. We’ll be visiting their booth often and hope all those attending the Sea Otter will drop by.” Kinetic Koffee will be in booth #825 at the event.

Trips For Kids helps disadvantaged kids discover the joy of mountain biking. Operating in the United States and Canada, we open the world of cycling to at-risk youth through mountain bike rides and Earn-A-Bike programs. The more than sixty Trips For Kids chapters that we support combine lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness through the development of practical skills, and the simple act of having fun.
