“The B Corp certification process was a really involved but rewarding process for us” states Scott McGuire, director of sales and marketing for Klean Kanteen. “We firmly believe that more companies in the outdoor industry should consider the certification—its part of our collective obligation to give back to the planet and the community that supports our business.”

Representatives from B Lab, the nonprofit standards organization which conducts the certification process, as well as other certified B Corps like Dansko, Indigenous Designs, Patagonia, United by Blue, D.light design, Partnership Capital Growth, Oliberte and Elemental Herbs will all be in attendance at the breakfast. Dermot Hikisch, head of community development at B Lab, will give a presentation about the certification followed by a question and answer session.
