Klymit adds industry power house to leadership team

Centerville, Utah- December 1, 2014- Klymit, an innovator in advanced outdoor technology, has hired Bart Miller as its new vice president of sales & business development. Miller will be in charge of expanding Klymit’s distribution, to make Klymit’s ultra lightweight products available to more consumers worldwide.
Klymit President, Cory Tholl says, “We’re looking forward to having Bart on the Klymit team. His fresh, new perspective is going to push us forward as a technological leader in the outdoor industry.”
Miller says, “I am thrilled to be joining the Klymit team this December. I have known Cory and some of the team for several years, as our paths frequently crossed at outdoor industry events. It is a talented group of people who should be very proud of the business they have created.”
Miller previously served as the vice president of sales at Goal Zero. In that role, he directed all sales activity, channel strategy, retail marketing and pricing strategy. Miller helped launch Goal Zero as a start-up business five years ago, and watched the company’s revenue grow from no revenue to $38 million in annual sales. Throughout his tenure with the company, Miller served as the COO and CFO before transitioning to sales.
In 2013, Miller was named to Utah Business Magazine’s “40 under 40” list of business professionals. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Weber State and holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Utah.
Miller looks forward to bringing his vast business knowledge to Klymit. He says, “My new job is to expand distribution in order to make these products available to many more consumers. The team at Klymit continues to innovate and offer new products that enhance outdoor experiences everywhere.”
