Boulder, Colo. (December 16, 2015)– Krimson Klover, the Colorado-based lifestyle brand known for high-quality women’s apparel, continues to expand its brand presence in lifestyle, travel, and snow-sports markets for 2016. To celebrate, Krimson Klover is selling Merino wool socks to benefit the Outdoor Industry Women’s Coalition (OIWC). All proceeds will be donated to the OIWC. Wine and treats will be served. Krimson Klover continues to distinguish itself with its commitment to supporting women in business and its priority of environmental sustainability. “In sourcing our natural-fiber yarns and fabrics, we make a point of finding materials that are as environmentally friendly as possible,” explains owner and designer Rhonda Swenson. Krimson Klover wool comes from free-range sheep raised on low-intensity farms, and products are manufactured in clean facilities that use recycled water and eco-friendly dyes. “Sustainability is an ongoing process and a big priority for us,” Swenson said. Krimson Klover also seeks and works with female owned and operated mills worldwide. Beyond business, Kirimson Klover’s founder Rhonda Swenson gives back to her communities including volunteer work at the local Eagle County Habitat for Humanity in Vail, Colorado, and collaborating with the nonprofit First Descents, which supports young adult cancer patients and survivors through outdoor experiences. She cofounded the Luna Women’s MTB Ambassadors team and serves on the board of the Ski Industry Association (SIA). Not to mention, she’s a retired competitive cyclist. As a result, her designs for Krimson Klover reflect that easygoing, adventurous outlook. “Our clothes look great and make you feel one of a kind, with little worry about what you’re wearing. Which leaves more time for hiking, skiing, and traveling,” Swenson says. “People need to get out and live life.”
This year’s fall collection reflects a renewed commitment to outdoor and winter-sports apparel, including hand-painted base layers, flattering sweater dresses, novelty sweaters, scarves, and graphic signature socks—all made from luxury natural fabrics such as cashmere and ultrafine Merino.
