The Charlottesville Marathon announces a new faster course

December 10th, 2013, Charlottesville, VA– Bad to the Bone Endurance Sports, a leader in the event production industry and the company behind the Charlottesville Marathon, is proud to announce a new faster course for the upcoming 2014 Charlottesville Marathon. 

The Charlottesville Marathon and Half Marathon is an iconic event in the Charlottesville area. The event brings together runners from all over 50 States and all over the World. This will be the 12th running of the race.

“We are very excited to showcase the new course” says Gill, CEO of Bad to the Bone Endurance Sports. “The new course is faster and it showcases more of the City of Charlottesville, including the University of Virginia’s Rotunda and many of the old neighborhoods”.

The Charlottesville Marathon will take place on April 5th in the historic Downtown Charlottesville. The race will be in conjunction with the Running and Fitness Expo on Friday, April 4th and Saturday, April 5th.
