La Sportiva Announces New Sports Marketing Coordinator

Leading footwear manufacturer La Sportiva announced the hiring of Kathy Dykes as their new Sports Marketing Coordinator today.

As the Sports Marketing Coordinator, Dykes will provide full-time, in-house assistance to Marketing Director, Jonathan Lantz. She will be at the center of La Sportiva’s growing marketing campaigns, managing all aspects of La Sportiva’s event promotion, event support, as well as the traveling Tech Rep and athlete ambassador programs.

“I am really excited to be working for La Sportiva,” says Dykes. “ I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work for a company that will allow me to be creative, and help make some progress with what everyone is trying to do here.”

A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Dykes most recently held a post in the marketing department of Squaw Valley Ski Resort in California. Previously, she worked with Mountainsmith and Airwalk. Kathy also has experience coordinating happenings for Freeskier Magazine, as well as Boulder’s Satellite Board Shop and Flatirons Theater. Dykes is a fervent traveler, having made her way to New Zealand, Slovenia, India, France, and Japan in 2005 alone.
