La Sportiva’s Solution Team Tour Storms The Southeast
La Sportiva’s exciting promotional initiative, the 2007 La Sportiva Solution Team Tour, stormed the Southeast, bringing La Sportiva athletes to retail stores, climbing gyms, and outdoor climbing areas in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.

La Sportiva’s exciting promotional initiative, the “2007 La Sportiva Solution Team Tour,†stormed the Southeast, bringing La Sportiva athletes to retail stores, climbing gyms, and outdoor climbing areas in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
The Solution Team Tour centered on the promotion of one of La Sportiva’s most successful, high-performance climbing shoes to date, the Solution. Attendees were able to test the Solution from the demo fleet while climbing alongside La Sportiva sponsored athletes.
“La Sportiva has a large cadre of world class climbing team ambassadors, with each member of the team bringing fresh energy and excitement to our brand,†said Laura Nilo, marketing manager for La Sportiva. “Having team members on the road interacting with the climbing community and getting our product on the feet of customers is the best way to reach the masses – demonstrating how well our products perform and supporting the businesses that form the foundation of the climbing industry.â€
As the tour traveled, Solution Team members offered a series of free multi-media shows, shoe demos, and gear raffles. La Sportiva sponsored athletes, including Timy Fairfield, Jason Kehl, and Abbey Smith, were on hand to climb with gym members and customers, share stories from the road, and offer climbing tips. Guest appearances by La Sportiva sponsored team members Chris Sierzant, Bentley Brackett, Lance Brock, Micah Dash and Matt Segal added highlights along the way.
With the successful completion of the Southeast tour, La Sportiva anticipates future regional tours, bringing La Sportiva Climbing Team members and new products to climbers across the country.
