For Spring / Summer 2012 Lafuma comes to market with a new U.S. designer for their sleeping bag category. Jason P. Belaire, IDSA, is the owner of ENFOQUE design, LLC. Jason has been a product designer since 1993 when he received his degree in Industrial Design. He has been specifically immersed in the Outdoor Industry since 2005 upon moving back to the U.S. He has worked for companies such as Mountainsmith, LLC and under the American Recreation Products umbrella he worked as lead designer for Slumberjack, Browning, and Wenger Swiss Army. Later he became head of design for Slumberjack, Wenger Swiss Army, Kelty, Kelty Kids, Sierra Designs and Ultimate Direction. This specialty experience is what he brought to the Lafuma Group to aid in providing high quality, meaningful and visually exciting product. The intent is to bring back Lafuma to a status they once dominated with; product true their functional DNA; lightweight and high compressibility. Lafuma introduces the GR 20 for Spring 2012 one of the many new models designed here in the US. The lofty, 4 season synthetic sleeping bag keeps the Lafuma know-how with attention to detail, feature-rich and comes with Lafuma’s compression stuff sack. The GR 20 features a cold-proof flap, shoulder collar, interior velcro pocket, double ended zipper with phosphorescent zipper-pull, anti-jamming construction, trapezoidal footbox and water repellent shell. 20°F/ msrp $129.95
