LAS VEGAS (September 4, 2014) Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) announces that it has selected Holly Walczak as its new human resources manager. Walczak will oversee LVSSR’s employee recruiting, training, evaluation and development programs. She will also work closely with the executive team to identify and create new positions as the area moves forward with its expansion plan.

Before joining LVSSR, Walczak worked for the Salvation Army as a human resources supervisor and store operations manager, overseeing nine retail locations in Las Vegas and Pahrump. She handled budgeting, customer service and employee rewards, retention and recognition programs.

“Holly’s experience and proven success in managing large teams in a dynamic environment make her a huge asset to LVSSR,” said Stickelman. “She will help to evolve our recruitment and employee development process, which is critical as we continue to grow and offer new services during both the summer and winter seasons.”

A resident of Las Vegas since 2000, Walczak, a mother of five children, also coaches Little League softball and volunteers for the All-American Booster Club and Parent Teacher Association. A longtime avid skier and hiker, she also enjoys photography and spending time with her kids and husband Chris.
