WHATLas Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) reports that as of 10 a.m.

on Friday, December 2, 2011 the area has received 39 inches of snow

from a large storm that started on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011. The current

snow base is roughly 56 inches. Snowfall is expected to continue through

the weekend.

DETAILS:LVSSR opened for the season on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, a week ahead of 

schedule, due to increased snowmaking capacity and a series of
