New outerwear, sleeping bags and accessories featuring Pertex® fabrics to be introduced at 2014 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

Clitheroe, UK – Pertex, known internationally among outdoor enthusiasts for its extremely lightweight yet highly-durable fabrics, is proud to announce many of its brand partners will present new outdoor gear made with Pertex at the Outdoor Retailer Show (ORSM) in Salt Lake City, August 6-9, 2014.

Along with its versatile collection of high-performance fabrics, Pertex will have an array of SS 15 brand partner products on display in its ORSM booth #37037.

“It’s been nearly 45 years since we launched Pertex and we’re still in awe to be a primary fabric of choice for many of the world’s highly-respected outdoor brands,” said Steve Laycock, Brand Director, Pertex. “We wish our partners all the best during this spring/summer ’15 selling season.”

Brief highlights of new SS 15 gear made with Pertex include:

adidas Outdoor is a new Pertex brand partner this season and features Pertex fabrics in its high-performance terrex collection. The terrex DownBlaze Jacket features PrimaLoft® Down Blend Gold insulation, and abrasion-resistant, lightweight Pertex Microlight shell.

Bergans of Norway’s Gulen Jacket is a superlight jacket ideal for trail running, hiking or any high-intensity activity. Constructed of soft, supple Pertex Classic Eco, it’s windproof, water resistant, highly breathable and quick drying.

Black Diamond’s Hot Forge Hybrid Hoody is ultra-light and designed to combat drops in temperature. It’s made with Pertex Quantum and insulated with PrimaLoft® Down Blend Gold in body, and PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation in hood, shoulders and arms.

Mammut’s new MTR 141 Air jacket is a stretch-running jacket for women made with Pertex Microlight, which provides ideal protection and temperature regulation for light running sessions.
